Nikita Casap, a 17-year-old from Wisconsin, has been charged with multiple felonies after allegedly murdering his parents as part of a disturbing plan to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump and topple the government. These details come from recently unsealed federal court documents.
Authorities say Casap shot and killed his mother, Tatiana Casap (35), and stepfather, Donald Mayer (51), on February 11 at their residence. Their bodies were found with fatal gunshot wounds.
According to investigators, the murders were allegedly committed to secure financial resources and independence to execute a politically motivated, extremist attack against the president.
Casap now faces nine felony charges in Waukesha County, including two counts of first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of concealing a corpse, identity theft, and theft of property valued over $10,000 (approximately ₹8.6 lakh). Additionally, he is under federal investigation for plotting the assassination of the president and attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction.
He was apprehended in Kansas by WaKeeney Police after reportedly stealing his stepfather’s vehicle and carrying a firearm.
Casap’s Alleged Radicalization and Plot
A federal affidavit, as reported by CNN affiliate WISN, claims Casap possessed written materials and digital communications outlining his intent to assassinate President Trump and destabilize the U.S. government. His phone contained extremist content and links to the neo-Nazi group “The Order of Nine Angles”—a network known for promoting white supremacist and violent ideologies.

The affidavit includes communications where Casap discussed staging a violent revolution. One document found by the FBI reportedly read: “Why Trump? It’s pretty clear. Eliminating the president and maybe the VP would throw the country into chaos.” The same document also featured Nazi imagery and slogans like “Hail Hitler, Hail the White Race, Hail Victory.”
Another document justified the use of violence as a way to “save the white race from Jewish-dominated political control.”
Casap appeared in court for a preliminary hearing on April 9 and remains in custody with a bond set at $1 million (around ₹8.6 crore). His formal arraignment is scheduled for May 7.
